Covid-19 Safety Plan Updates

Due to the current Covid Alert level 4 status, for Franklin County, all classes are being offered online only, through December 31st, at the earliest.

Covid Safe Guidelines for In Person Classes and Activities:

  • Complete and SUBMIT Health Screener by 4:30pm on weekdays, 11:30am on Saturdays, and 1:00pm on Sundays. This includes taking and recording temperatures as late as possible. We cannot allow anyone in who has not had a temperature check within 12 hours prior to start time.

  • Everyone must wear a mask at all times, regardless of how many are in the building or where they are located.  Masks should be on before entering the building. Adult and child sized masks are available, if needed.

  • No more than 8 people in the building at one time. No more than 4 people in one room at one time. Only 2 students per class, at one time.

  • Everyone should use provided hand sanitizer upon entering and after using the restroom.

  • No one is allowed to stand around outside within 10 feet of the door, so that others can safely enter.

  • Remain 6 feet apart if not dancing and 8 feet apart if dancing. This includes while moving around. Parents will be required to help their students with dressing and rest room care, if needed.

  • Only one parent can wait in the lobby at once. Students under the age of 7 (or with behavioral concerns) must have a parent in the building. Students under the age of 15 must have a parent on the premises (can be a carpool parent for multiple students). All parents must be available to pick their children (under 18) up, within 10 minutes, when asked to. Sick students will be kept in a room alone, when possible, or asked to wait for parents outside.

  • Stay home for at least 14 days when:  Your/your child's temperature is 99 degrees or higher, any listed symptoms are experienced by anyone in the household or carpool,  you/your child have been around someone who was sick, your/your child's school or school bus has had a case of Covid-19, you/your child or someone in your household are playing sports or have participated in other in-person activities on teams or group gatherings (including cheerleading, gymnastics teams, girl or boy scouts, church services, holiday gatherings, sports events, etc), you travel in and out of town, you/your student goes back to school.

  • Notify MUCAI Academy, immediately, if you/your child begin to feel symptoms after you have submitted the screener, on your way to the studio, or while in class.

Let's continue to work hard to keep everyone safe and stay open for those who need it.
